The Geological Society strongly condemns the invasion of Ukraine and the resulting humanitarian crisis and loss of life. We call upon local, national, European and world leaders to stop the violence and avoid further loss of human life. Our thoughts are with the Ukrainian people as we call for an immediate end to this brutal assault and a peaceful resolution to the situation.
